FITSCO provides urban rail transit with solutions such as communication-based train control system(CBTC), full-automatic operation system(FAO), train autonomous circumambulation system(TACS), covering standard establishment, theoretical research, system design, product development, test and verification, project implementation, maintenance service, so as to realize full life cycle service and guarantee of rail transit signaling system.
For the past few years, FITSCO has successively participated in the construction of urban rail transit systems in multiple cities, including Shanghai, Suzhou, Qingdao, Taiyuan, Dalian, Wuhan, Tianjing, Chengdu, Shenzhen, Monterrey, São Paulo, etc.
Self-development R&D History of Rail Transit Signaling Systems
In 2008, to break through the technical bottlenecks of rail transit signaling and to support the national strategy for self-reliance in rail signaling, FITSCO launched the independent development of its CBTC signaling system. Following independent pre-research, development, and comprehensive testing, the system entered commercial service in 2015. Since then, FITSCO has mastered core technologies including FAO, interoperability, TACS, and CTCS/ETCS+ATO, delivering safety assurance systems for mainline railways, high-speed railways, intercity railways, regional express rails, and urban rail transit.
Possess independent intellectual property rights
FITSCO places intellectual property protection at the core of its corporate development. Since its establishment, the company has consistently invested in product R&D and technological innovation, driving continuous upgrades to its technology and products. To date, FITSCO has filed 178 domestic patents, of which 95 have been granted (including 75 invention patents), and holds 35 computer software copyrights. It has been recognized as a Shanghai Patent Pilot Enterprise and selected as a candidate enterprise for the National IP Strong Nation Demonstration Program (2025–2027).
Advanced Laboratories and Testing Platforms
FITSCO’s R&D Laboratories are centered on high-end equipment and simulation systems for high-speed railways and urban rail transit, committed to building world-class foundational experimental platforms and R&D innovation centers for rail transit. Equipped with core equipment and systems including advanced rail transit simulators, train operation control systems, operation management simulation and training systems, general-purpose computing platforms, and intelligent-sensing AI computing platforms, the laboratories span multiple product areas—train operation control, communication systems, integrated supervision, and autonomous perception.
