On September 18, 2025, the 2025 MetroTrans hosted by China Urban Rail Transit Association was grandly opened in Qingdao China Railway World Expo City. Shanghai Fuxin Intelligent Transportation Solutions Co., ltd. (“FITSCO” for short) , took part in the exhibition with fully autonomous core technologies, multi-standard solutions and digital innovation achievements, demonstrating the leapfrog strength of China’s urban rail technology from “following” to “leading.
TACS is a new type ATC system that is centered on train and transforms train operation mode from automation to autonomy, with the adoption of resource management concept, the basis of train-to-train communication and the feature of signaling system and vehicle deep integration. TACS has been successfully applied to Qingdao Metro Line 6.
As the first fully independent TACS commercial line in China, the innovative technology and application effect of Qingdao Metro Line 6 have been highly recognized by the industry, and the overall level has reached the international leading level. TACS attracted many customers and industry experts to stop and observe and exchange.
FITSCO provides customized JeRail® CBTC solutions for intercity railways, urban express lines, subways and monorails. The system has been applied in Shanghai, Taiyuan, Dalian, Wuhan and other cities, and has won multiple awards including the China Urban Rail Transit Association Science and Technology Progress Award and Shanghai Municipal Engineering Gold Award.
In medium-low capacity and tourist transit markets, FITSCO provides dedicated signaling for straddle monorail, suspended monorail and tram systems. With independent signaling as the core, it integrates dispatching, PIS/PA and communication capabilities to deliver integrated light-current solutions covering the full lifecycle: consulting, R&D, construction and O&M.
FITSCO has developed the Intelligent IOM system to enhance intelligent capabilities (GoA3–GoA4) and solve on-site inspection, maintenance and repair challenges. The system improves equipment reliability, reduces costs and boosts operational efficiency.
In the spirit of “Internet + Transportation”, the urban rail transit has become more digital, interconnected, automated and intelligent. The fully automatic train operation featuring GoA4 (Grade of Automation) has been realized on closed railways, while the line highly dependents on segregated path and highly reliable systems. The FiTSCO SEERail® autonomous perception suite, acting as a critical part of next-generation train control system, enable the train “feel” the environment on its own so an autonomous operation and backup system can be realized. SEERail® lessens the rail command and control system (CCS) for path segregation, therefore reduces the impact of degradation/down time of signal system to the train operation.
