This is the first modern tram line in Jiangsu Province. The line, with the whole length of about 18.19km, is a viaduct line with 11 stations and 18 trams.
The signaling systems provided by FITSCO include main line signaling system and depot signaling system; the communication systems include backbone network system and wireless communication system.
The project has been put into revenue service successfully in October 2014. Since opening, the operation has been stable and has played an industry benchmark role
